CYB is a volunteer based organization and we need each family to volunteer as part of the season requirements. As a reminder, here are the guidelines for the volunteer hours and buyouts:
- 4 hours of volunteer time is required PER PLAYER for the volunteer buyout to be cleared.
- You will need to complete a total of 4 hours of volunteering throughout the season to get the buyout cleared. We have split this into 2x 2 hour shifts. This will give you the opportunity to earn hours several times throughout the season.
- If you have not done at least 4 hours of volunteer hours by the end of the season, you will receive an invoice for the buyout.
- Only registered Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Scorekeepers (only one per team) will have their volunteer hours satisfied.
- Volunteer hours will be satisfied by snack shack shifts (2 hour slots), volunteering for skills day (see sign up below), and other events throughout the season (stay tuned on future emails and sign ups)
- If you sign up for a volunteer shift at any point and do a no call/no show, you will automatically lose your buyout ability and receive an invoice.
- If you sign up for a shift, it is your responsibility to get it filled if you can not make it. I need to be notified via text or email 24 hours before your shift to document the changes.
- 15 and older can work in the snack shack
The 2026 spring season buyout fee is $400 per player.
